A bit about

EPES Consulting Engineers

EPES Consulting Engineers turns complex technical challenges into practical, buildable solutions. Founded by Principal Engineer Ken Eppleston in 2014, EPES has grown into a multi-disciplined engineering consultancy serving clients across Australia, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, from hospitals and commercial buildings to tunnels, pipelines and water infrastructure.

Every project gets the same hands-on treatment: understand the real-world constraints, then engineer the solution that actually fits.

Why Choose Us?

Anyone can promise a good outcome. EPES backs it up with a track record on some of the country’s most demanding infrastructure and healthcare projects, and the certifications to prove the process behind it holds up too.

Trusted on projects that don't leave room for error.

EPES has worked alongside organisations including Sydney Water, NSW Health, WestConnex, NorthConnex, Melbourne Metro, Veolia, Brookfield and ExxonMobil. These aren't forgiving environments. Critical infrastructure, live hospitals, major tunnelling works, they demand a consultant who gets it right under pressure, not one still finding their feet.

Certified, not just capable.

Our EPES Consulting Engineers operate under a fully certified Integrated Management System: ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for environmental management, and ISO 45001 for health and safety. It's also a Certified Consultant and Registered Contractor under the NSW Government's prequalification schemes. That's independent verification of standards most firms only talk about.

A senior engineer on every project, not just the pitch.

When we take on a project, a senior EPES Consulting Engineer stays across it from first conversation to final sign-off. No handing it off to whoever's free once the contract's signed.

Digital engineering tools put to practical use.

EPES applies current digital engineering technology to genuinely complex problems, not as a buzzword, but as a way to model, test and validate solutions before they hit the site.

A team that questions the brief, not just executes it.

Where a lot of consultants take the brief at face value, EPES's engineers are encouraged to push back, ask why, and challenge assumptions early, when it's still cheap to change course. That curiosity is often what separates a workable solution from the right one.

Whatever the project, EPES Consulting Engineers brings the credentials, the track record and the mindset to match.
