Our Story
EPES Consulting Engineers was founded in May 2014 by Principal Engineer Ken Eppleston, driven by a straightforward observation: too much of the engineering industry was solving problems in theory rather than in practice. Ken set out to build a firm that treated real-world constraints, budgets, timelines and site conditions as the starting point of every design, not an afterthought.
More than a decade later, that founding principle still shapes how EPES operates today.
Who We Are Today
EPES has grown into a multi-disciplined engineering consultancy with over 25 years of combined experience across the team. Structured across dedicated Building, Healthcare, Industrial and Innovation divisions, EPES brings deep sector-specific expertise to every project rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
That expertise spans hospitals and healthcare facilities, commercial buildings, tank farms, tunnels, pipelines, manufacturing plants, and water and waste facilities, covering both new greenfield developments and brownfield rectification work for government and private sector clients alike.
Where We Work
Headquartered in Sydney with additional offices in Newcastle, Melbourne and Brisbane, EPES delivers projects across Australia, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
